Types of Temperature Sensor Thermocouples
April 25 , 2022Basically temperature sensor thermocouples can be divided into two categories: standard temperature sensor thermocouple and non-standard temperature sensor thermocouple. The so called standard temperature sensor thermocouples are those meeting national or international standard with specified relationship between its thermoelectric potential and temperature, its allowable error, and has a unified standard potential vs temperature graduation table. Non-standardized temperature sensor thermocouples generally do not have a unified graduation table, they are mainly used for the measurement of some special occasions.
Typically both the precious metal and cheap metal can be work as thermocouple materials.
The thermocouple S type ,R type and B type are precious metal types, and widely used thermocouple K type , J type ,T type and E type are cheap metal types works at high cost performance under related environment.
The structure of the temperature sensor thermocouple In order to ensure the reliable and stable operation of the temperature sensor thermocouple, its structural requirements are as follows:
① The welding of the two hot electrodes that make up the thermocouple of the temperature sensor must be firm;
② The two hot electrodes should be well insulated from each other to prevent short circuit;
③ The connection between the compensation wire and the free end of the thermocouple of the temperature sensor should be convenient and reliable;
④ The protective sleeve should be able to ensure that the hot electrode is fully isolated from the harmful medium.
